Doing an auto to manual swap? One of the biggest hurdles is the converting the tunnel over to the OEM manual tunnel. Not anymore... This tunnel cover allows for a clean installation, and will seal your Supra up from outside elements, heat, exhaust gas, etc.
This tunnel conversion cover was created specifically for the MKIV Supra auto to manual conversions to fit not only the new Magnum-F transmission, but also pretty much any manual transmission you plan on swapping in (V160, V161, CD009, W58, AR5, R154, etc). The shifter location is dead center, and we have a large hole in the cover it allows pretty much any shifter available to come through without clearance issues. THIS ALSO FITS RHD CARS!
This cover was designed and fabricated in house as a much easier solution to swapping out the entire manual 6-speed tunnel swap. This can be done with the dash still in the car! This method saves a ton of work over doing the 6-speed tunnel swap, and leaves the car with a clean, airtight tunnel.
The kit includes the fabricated cover, high quality rubber shift boot, chrome securing ring, and template to use when cutting the tunnel.
This is a bolt in kit, no welding is required. It does of course require cutting out the tunnel to properly allow the fitment of the billet shifter handle. Cutting the auto tunnel is required with any manual transmission conversion, as the auto hole sits too far back.
These are currently only available for the MKIV Supra but I am planning on developing these for more chassis going forward.
This template is only for the MKIV Supra auto tunnel (RHD OR LHD). Make sure you when you print to 100% or "actual size" to avoid the printer skewing the template dimensions, then always double check the dimensions with a ruler/tape measure. Notice the TEXT SIDE IS UP when you put the template up in from underneath to draw your outline for cutting. I included some pictures which should be helpful. Notice you have to notch the bracket for the dash as well.
