Hpattern is all about being as light as possible... so all the undercoating has to go bye bye! I can't really say how much weight this takes off, but it should be a decent amount. the undercoating is really heavy in some areas, up to 1/4" thick in the corners and mainly about 1/16" across the majority of the bottom of the car.

The only downside to sandblasting is cleaning out all the sand from the unibody after its done. This seems like a never ending task, the sand just keeps coming back again and again. Thanks to Eric Ritchey for helping me get the car cleaned up and ready for primer!!
