About

I have been building cars since I was 14 years old. The car addiction runs in my family, and I was raised on Chevrolet and 'Murica, but once I found turbo cars my focus changed to import cars. My brothers and rest of my family made fun of me for the longest time for running these "rice burners", but guess who has the fastest cars in the family! Ha ha!

I have owned so many cars it is really hard to list them all out, but I started with an 85 camaro, then a 93 corvette. In 2000, I bought a red 300zx convertible, and if your a Z aficionado you know these cars are not turbo from the factory. But that was the plan, to make a turbo convertible. This car went through a few different motors and setups but ended up with a 630rwhp VG30DETT single turbo setup. The car was a blast on the street, and I think there are some youtube videos still floating around of it. I have owned a total of four Z32's and I still have a soft spot in my heart for these cars.

From there I moved on to a Lexus SC300, which I built the 2JZ-GE motor and did a big single Borg Warner 80mm turbo with a TH400 transmission. This was tuned to 739rwhp by Paul Efantis, but I never got to take it to the track. It pushed a headgasket and I called it quits. The auto was not as much fun as I thought it would be.

I have had 2 Evo's as well, both built up to 500+hp, but I quickly would lose interest in these cars... They are fast but I just feel like I could never get them right, and the driveline is such a pain in the ass to work on.

I now have a Supra, which originally was purchased from Darin Dichiara. The setup has changed a lot over the 4-5 years I have owned it now, but it is a 8 second machine on the stock getrag 6-speed transmission. The car also has the factory 2JZ block and crank, with R&R aluminum rods and CP pistons.

My other car is my baby, it is a 93 RX7 which i swapped in a 2JZ motor. I built this in my "spare time" over 4 years. The car was a basketcase when i bought it, everything was in boxes and it was just a rolling shell. The license plate now is "2JZ SWAP" so that says it all right there. It is a burnout widebody car, and it made 750rwhp on E85. The car also has the Getrag 6-speed from Toyota. This car has been 9.66 @ 153 in the quarter mile.
