Tilton’s 8000-Series hydraulic release bearings (also known as hydraulic throwout bearings or concentric slave cylinders) feature race-proven Tilton reliability for the street. These hydraulic release bearings have been designed for ease of installation and maximum reliability, at a very competitive price. These hydraulic release bearings are designed to mount onto the transmission input shaft bearing retainer, and are compatible with a variety of transmission types.
This kit includes both a 3an feed line and a 3an bleeder line with fittings.
This bearing is for the CD009 transmission only. I sell these setups for Mazworx bells, but please be aware the Serial9 and Fisch bellhousings will require machining for this to fit with the McLeod and Tilton ST246 clutches. Contact me for me information on that.
The flat face bearings are for clutches with flared tip fingers on pressure plates. Radius face is used on “typical” straight finger pressure plates.
Watch the following video to learn about properly setting up the clutch clearance (air gap).
HOWEVER, on all the clutches I sell I provide a billet bearing spacer that makes this a non issue. Each spacer/shim is setup specific to each clutch so no measuring is required. Just install and go!
