IMPORTANT NOTES:
This kit is for the MECHANICAL components only. Similar to when you buy a turbo kit, injectors, or other aftermarket part... This kit does not INCLUDE tuning to make it work with a OEM ECU or DME, however we can assist you with getting you on MHD and the code you need.
You will be required to get your car tuned to eliminate the gear position sensor. We are working on a more plug-and-play solution for that, but for now the lack of gear position requires some functionality to be coded out. As you can see in the video below, my car runs and drive no issues, but some features are not available (reverse lights, back up camera, downshift throttle blip) due to the lack of a gear position sensor.
The gear position sensor has never been available for a T56 or T56 Magnum, but we hope this will be available mid-late summer 2025. Once that product becomes available, downshift throttle blip, reverse functions, and other gear-position sensor related functionality will work again like factory.
Installing this kit and expecting it to work on the stock computer is unrealistic. This is an aftermarket transmission that does not have the same sensors, or gear ratios. So, like any aftermarket part, tuning will be required to make it function properly. The Good news is we have that all figured out now and get you hooked up with MHD and the coding.
