I have been keeping this hush-hush for what seems like way too long now, so it is time to let the cat out of the bag. I had spoken to Australia-based Custom Plenum Creations back when I was on vacation about buying one of their billet manifolds, and they let me in on a little secret. When I heard what they had coming out, I wanted in. And not only for both of my cars, but I also bought 10 more to resell these here in the states.

If you have seen the billet aluminum manifolds these guys make, then you know the quality. The runners are one solid piece of billet aluminum. These are top-notch and better than any other manifold on the market. These will be not only super strong but also ultra-light, coming in at only 13 pounds! 

The upper plenum comprised of 8 layers of infused carbon twill making it unbelievably strong. The upper plenum be secured to the runners with a flange utilizing a proprietary bonding process. It is guaranteed to withstand all boost levels and the finish will not yellow like a typical carbon hood. The plenum will have integrated vacuum ports and an IAC valve port using aluminum directly impregnated into the carbon fiber. These are available in both 2JZ-GE and 2JZ-GTE (only have 3d renderings of the GTE runners right now, sorry!).

Like all CPC products, their infused 8 layer carbon twill construction is flawless! Sealed with high quality epoxy resin for a gloss, silky-smooth finish. They are currently putting the first prototypes through pressure and adhesion testing and release date for the public is set for some time in late February.

These will be available in a single rail 6 injector configuration and also available with dual rails and 12 injector ports. There is also two throttle body options 90mm and 105mm. They include a GM TPS sensor. Anodizing is $175 extra and currently available in black, red, and gold. Anodizing will include the throttle body, rail(s), runners, and throttle cable bracket. The throttle cable will be mounted underneath the manifold for a clean look. The vacuum ports will also be moved to the side to clean up the overall look of the plenum. I will post new renderings when available.
